Before we get into real news about fake stuff, here’s a recap of big headlines from the week.

Are the White House and President Trump disconnected from the FBI and Department of Justice? Critics claim that plea deals, sentencings and court filings both related and unrelated to the Russia probe prove collusion between Donald Trump and Russia. Meanwhile, the president has conveyed on Twitter that these happenings clearly prove his campaign's innocence. Who's right? Who's wrong?

One unexpected complication affecting US-China trade negotiations: the arrest of one of Meng Wanzhou, the CFO of Chinese tech giant Huawei. China has warned of "grave consequences" against the US over the arrest. The White House claims to have known nothing about the fraud investigation into Wanzhou. Are you worried Huawei tech could be used to spy on Americans?
